Line guards are recommended for the protection of
conductors at the point where the conductors are
rigidly fixed. They provide an efficient protection
to conductors against damage due to friction & short
circuit. More over, they cut down radio & television
interference voltage.
They restore full conductivity and mechanical
strength.
The lay direction of line guards is the same as that
of the outer strand of the conductor to which it is
applied. These are manufactured from Aluminium Alloy
rods.
These products are made in bundles according to
requirements. An identification tag as well as color
is provided with the following :
