This type of dead end is simple & safe for retaining
securing Guy Wire / Stay Wire.
They are supplied with a cabled loop to prevent
slackening of the dead end after prolonged
installation. These are manufactured from galvanized
steel wire. The guy grip dead ends provide
distribution of force over a wide surface thus
preventing strain concentration and damage to Guy
wire or Stay wire.
These breaking load of the Guy grip dead ends is not
less than breaking load of the respective Guy wire /
Stay wire.
Wherever possible thimble may be used for the
protection of the dead end loop from abrasion at the
point of attachment.
The lay direction of dead ends must be the same as
the outer strand of the Guy wire / Stay wire where
it is applied.
These products are supplied with color code, cross
over marks and identification tag indicating the
following :
